My experience with Harlan was not only excellent! It was informative as well. My vehicle had a number of issues I was unaware of, with their diagscan and the owners vast years of knowledge, I was given recommendations on all repairs to best suit my budget. When I selected those repairs they immediately ordered the parts and installed the same day. I received a text the next day to pick-up my vehicle. WOW! talk about ASE certified technicians. These guys don't play around. I'm recommending Halarn Automotive to any and every one out there. They serve people first then their vehicle. Gotta love that!

My filling is mixed about this service, people are friendly, polite and knowledgeable, answering every question you may have, hopefully they do what they say. I went for oil change and made mistake not asking for the price but that one is really on me, i just assumed that they are in range of every other shops in the country not 50% higher price ! Again I should ask before scheduling appointment, but didn't expect that simple oil change with several (visually) checking points will be $121 ! oil filter is priced $15, oil $66 and I guess labor $19, so it is very pricey in my opinion- again my fault that didn't ask for price, vould include at least tire rotation so price would be to spme point justified. Other than that everything was fine.

Angela was very helpful at presenting my options for repair work and pricing. The mechanic worked quickly, and tirelessly, at removing my wheel bearings and replacing them. Everyone was courteous and friendly, and I will definitely be returning for any other car repairs.

This is the second time I brought my car here & same as last time the staff was very friendly & they are good about communicating with you when they have your vehicle. I hate to leave a bad review, however the amount that they quoted me was MUCH more than I had anticipated (same as the last time) and I am afraid that they were trying to overcharge me. I ended up not having them do any work this time, but still had to pay them almost $300 for just looking at my car. I understand that there are diagnostic costs, but this is just excessive. I picked my car up 2 days ago and today I found that they left this cover piece for my engine in the back seat of my car. For the amount that I paid, I am disappointed in the lack of care.

Sorry for your less than excellent experience. I reviewed your ticket and thought I would explain our process a little better if possible. Your van had multiple misfire codes. Honda has an issue with piston ring failure and engine blow by. So our first test was to insure that was not an issue. There is a TSB concerning this. The next step is to check valve adjustment. Honda is one the few manufactures that still have manually valve adjustment procedures. This is the point we were at when you opted not to continue. As for the engine cover being left in the back floor board, that is 100% my fault. While we were awaited your decision to continue with testing, we needed the bay for other customers. I put the engine cover inside your van so that it would not get misplaced. I failed to let Angela know that it would need to be reinstalled, if you were not going to precede. For that I am very sorry.

Our daughter is a student at Murray State and her car overheated. We had been battling this for months. We decided to try and find someone in Murray instead of trying to get it home. We searched the Facebook group and decided to go with Harlan’s in Murray. They said to drop it off that day and within a half hour had diagnosed the problem and sent an estimate. The next day they had the car repaired and we picked it up. They handled everything via text and sent pictures of the car along with the estimate. I recommend Harlan’s to anyone that needs affordable and fast service. Thank you Harlan’s for the great service.

Hello Chasity. We are sorry that you are still having trouble. I understand your frustration. We have contacted Fred and asked him to bring it back in so we can see what happened. And as a reminder we do have a 3 year 36000 mile warranty. So we got you covered if the cooling fan has failed. But please bring it in at your earliest convenience.
