My whole family are long-time customers, but not anymore. I made an appointment with Harlan Automotive to check the wiring on a part they installed that is under warranty (paid $930.69 for this fix) because I have been having new issues since this was put in. I was assured this visit is covered under warranty. Instead, they ran a check engine and charged me a diagnostic fee of $78.37 and had the audacity to pretend they were doing me a favor of giving a discount that I never asked for down from $172.38. Normally they send a text with a link that has an exact breakdown service amount and what service they will provide before they begin, and you do an e-signature. Nothing of the sort happened this time and nothing was disclosed to me about extra services and charges, so I told them I did not expect a charge! They refused to release my car until I paid. I noticed on the receipt where they falsified a verbal authorization from me minutes after I arrived that morning with my car before there would have been a chance to check the part under warranty like I asked! When I called Angela at the front desk later to further discuss these facts, she wanted to rush me off the phone and even accused me of calling her names to get away from owning up to her errors. I asked what name I called her several times and when she couldn't handle the pressure to be held accountable for more lies, she hung up on my face! This place is disgraceful and unprofessional. What a way to treat your customers! They will sweet talk you all the way to the bank and add services you did not agree to, and they will not disclose prices. If this is the treatment you want, go here and get ripped off! They can hang up on me, but they can't hang up on this review.
