I was looking for a good shop with a good reputation to take my car too as well as my daughter's. And as most people will do, I read reviews. For the most part this shop has an outstanding number of good reviews and yes, they have some not so good (Which shop does not?). The ones that concerned me was from a couple of females. Me, being female, I chose to overlook these and moved right into scheduling an appointment. And if my opinion matters at all, then this is my experience with Harlan's. First, they are friendly and accommodating and guess what?? The Service advisor is a Woman! She treated me with respect, spoke kindly to me, answered all of my questions and did not once belittle me or talk down to me for being a woman! Go figure....;) 2nd: They gave me estimates for some repairs on my vehicle. I was told what the part was and what the part's function was for my vehicle. They disclosed the cost of the part and labor and they made it clear that there was a diagnostics charge upfront (which I gladly paid, knowing I needed to know what was the issue with my check engine light) ) I asked several questions and not once did I feel like I was asking dumb questions, or being treated unfairly! Quite the opposite! 3RD: Ladies: If you are looking for a good shop and you want to feel welcome and treated with respect and kindness, then I DO recommend that you got to Harlan's. Because just seeing ALL the great reviews as opposed to the very few bad reviews, I think you will have a good chance at a great experience! They will help you with your car needs and they will do it all with great service and a smile.
