We are new to Kentucky and needed a mechanic to repair our brakes. We went to Harlan automotive and were impressed to see they were a NAPA center which we know is a well trusted brand . They gave us an estimate and then preformed the repairs in a timely manner and at the price they estimated. They have a clean waiting room and a friendly professional staff . We will return for any more repairs we may have. We really liked the text messages keeping us informed of our progress. They are reasonably priced . The made us aware of a potential problem with the truck and to keep and eye on it but didn't try to up sell us which is refreshing . Thanks for taking care of us .
They worked on diagnosing an engine knock on my KIA. It ended up being a warranty/recall issue so KIA dealership had to fix it. While my car was at Harlan initially they called everyday, sometimes multiple times a day, to keep me updated on it. They have my business from here on out.
My daughter is a student at Murray State. We live 3 hrs away and seen the great reviews online. I must say, Angela was great to work with and the text message updates are awesome. We still have 2 yrs left at Murray State at this will be our go to service station.

Was traveling to Murray for work and had a flat. I was able to bring it in before work, they ordered the tire and had it on for me to pick up before the end of the day. Very easy process! Highly recommended
Sent the car to their Paducah location to have plugs and coils replaced. When we got the car back, the steering was thrown way out of alignment and the check engine light was still on. Over $600 for this? Definitely will not use them again. Very disappointed.
