Very friendly and fast. They told me it would take a few hours, and they had it ready to go in less than half the time. Great people to deal with.

Thank you so much for the review

Trustworthy and transparent. You get what you pay for. The prices are substantially higher than most of the mom-and-pop garages around here, but they're considerably lower than the dealership, and they aren't going to try to mess around and sell you stuff you don't need. They aren't going to change what they recommend based on how much they think you know about vehicles. Harlan's is consistent, professional, the garage and waiting room are *very* clean, they provide detailed inspections with pictures & videos through a very cool website so you can view it whenever you want, they text you with updates as they work on your vehicle, and they'll answer all of your questions. The people at Harlan know what they're doing. I've been told it is stressful when women call shops because they usually talk to gruff, rude men who treat them like they're stupid, so if you are a woman looking to get your car worked on, Harlan is a good choice. The person who answers the phone is a really nice, patient lady, so you won't feel uncomfortable talking with her and asking questions. I've been messed over and spent over a thousand dollars on nonsense repairs at other shops in town, and one of the cheapest repair shops even took a problem on one of our vehicles and made it worse, then tried charging me for fixing it. But not at Harlan's. Would definitely recommend. The service is way above and beyond anything else I've experienced in Murray.

Thank you for putting your trust in us. We love taking care of our customers on an individual basis! We look forward to serving you in the future.

Very quick and solid service. I have had them service both my wifes vehicle and mine on a few occasions and im always impressed with the turnaround time, these were repairs not oil changes. They also take the time to talk me through what's going on with the car and why it needs to be fixed.

Thank you very much! We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.

My wife and were attending the Land Between the Lakes USA Jeep Jamboree, and right after registration the Jeep developed a horrible vibration and noise. This meant it wouldn't be safe to take it on the trails the next day. While eating dinner at Kenlake Resort I was using the Google Maps application to search for automotive repair businesses is the area and came across Harlan Automotive. I sent them a message through the Google Maps app right then and asked if they would be able to get the Jeep in the nest day. To my surprise I received a message that evening from the owner telling me to bring it. The next morning we took them the Jeep, and they got started on it right away. The service was fantastic and the staff were wonderful and friendly. They keep you updated on the progress of the service throughout the process. In just a few hours they had diagnosed and repaired the Jeep and had us on our way so we didn't have to miss the next days trail ride. They truly were life savers. The bill was commensurate with the work performed, the parts installed, and the 3 year/100,000 mile warranty. I would recommend them to anyone wanting quality automotive repairs. #jeepjamboreeusa

Grandsons car quit. Advised by wrecker guy to take it to Harlan. Harlen said $ 262 .00 to fix plus parts . One hour later was told engine blown, not worth fixing. Charge $262.00. Pretty steep for one hours work. Junked car out for $200.00. This place sucks. Only difference between them and Jessie James is Jessie had a gun !!!

Mr Parker. We are sorry that you were not pleased with the service your grandson received. I pulled the invoice in question and would like to explain exactly what happened. The car was towed in as a no start. It was diagnosed as a timing issue. Approval was received to do a tear down in order to verify that the timing chain had jumped time. The approved about for the tear down was $262.00. It was then verified that it had not only jumped time, but that the timing chain guides had broken and fell into the oil pan. An estimate was given in the amount of around $1200.00 for repair. The repair was declined and your grandson was only charged $130.57. Which was much less than the approved amount. I am sorry for any misunderstanding. Feel free to stop by and we can discuss this further if needed.

I don't leave reviews often but felt compelled to do so in this case. Honest, trustworthy, experts. They have worked on my import car (that I used to take to Nashville before finding Harlan), domestic truck(gas) and now my new to me diesel truck. They stand behind their work with a warranty. Work is completed quickly, accurately and they are great people to deal with. Only place I will take my vehicles.

Thank you for your kind words and trust in our staff. We look forward to serving you in the future.
